I’ve been married to Nancie Hoblitzell Lowe since 1995. (Yes, I saved her from her maiden name.) We have three busy kids who we serve as Uber drivers and sometimes parents.

I’m a speaker, blogger, and the director of Married People, the marriage division of Orange, a non-profit organization devoted to influencing those who influence the next generation. Before working at Orange, I worked as the Director of MarriedLife at North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. Before that, I worked at Saddleback Community Church as a youth pastor, as well as on the drama team. I graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary, in Pasadena, California.

I want to help marriages. It’s my thing. I want people to know that marriage is easier than they think. I also want them to know they can be better at marriage than they think. I try to help in two different lanes: Direct to Married Couples and Churches. I reach out to couples directly through speaking, writing, and collaborating with the best people I know. You can find the great collaborating stuff for married couples right. . .here. . .Marriages Resources and Tools for Couples and you can find the church stuff right. . .here. . . Marriage Ministry Strategy and Resources for Churches.

Married Couples

Speaking Requests
[vc_column_text]

You will find me speaking at conferences, one-night events, and retreats. I love encouraging married couples that marriage isn’t always about hard work. My wife and I have created an event called, “Your Best Night Out… Laugh.Love.Chill.”  These events point people to Jesus and each other through laughter and learning. Whenever I speak and write, I believe with the right habits, marriage can be Real. Fun. Simple. Nancie would tell you we do marriage that way…most of the time. Oh yeah, I’ve written a marriage book for people who hate marriage books, Your Best Us, Marriage Is Easier Than You Think.

Church Leaders

Speaking Requests
[vc_column_text]

I’m the Director of Married People, the Marriage Division of Orange.  Married People churches all over the country are putting a strategy into place that gives couples less content more often. It’s great stuff. Check it out.

I love training and resourcing churches to create proactive marriage ministries, instead of waiting until couples are banging on the door on the verge of divorce. It just seems smarter that way. So you will find me speaking at a breakout or two at the Orange Conference, as well as other conferences, workshops, and webinars encouraging church leaders they really can pour into marriages. To help church leaders, my friend, Doug Fields and I wrote a book called Married People, How Your Church Can Build Marriages That Last. This book is for anyone in your church, from a pastor to a volunteer who wants to empower and enrich marriages. I’ve been told by several self- declared non-readers that they even enjoyed reading this book. Churches can also leverage our “Your Best Night Out” events to complement or kickstart their marriage ministry.
